Nine months after the devastating mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, families and survivors are still carrying the weight of unimaginable loss. Mike Moyski’s 10-year-old daughter, Harper, was killed while sitting in the pews during the attack. First grade teacher Sara Slack survived alongside her two daughters and students, but lost a former student, 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel. Speaking with CNN’s Fredricka Whitfield, they shared how they’re honoring Harper and Fletcher’s lives, leaning on each other through grief, and finding strength as a community one year after the tragedy.
