US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said China will not "stand in the way" of people coming to Taiwan and reiterated that "America stands with Taiwan," while speaking to reporters alongside President Tsai Ing-wen. Pelosi is the highest-ranking American official to visit the island in 25 years.
